Eye Opener Breakfast

He’ll also provide a glimpse into what’s ahead, from infrastructure improvements to emerging industries. The Eye Opener breakfast is the CED’s mid-year briefing on key developments, initiatives, and economic indications in Will County. This presentation will offer insight as to what is ahead for the region, from infrastructure improvements to industries poised for growth.

Will County Summer Internship Celebration
August 5, 2026
The End of Summer Cohort Celebration recognizes students who successfully completed the 2026 Will County Summer Internship Program, honoring their professional growth and contributions to the local workforce. Students will receive Certificates of Completion as we celebrate the partnerships between employers, educators, and community leaders that help strengthen Will County’s talent pipeline and economic future.
The event is free to attend for participating students and employers. The CED is currently accepting event sponsorships, which make it possible to host this celebration and invest in the next generation of talent driving Will County’s economy.
Annual Report to Investors
December 4, 2026 – Bolingbrook Golf Club
The Annual Report to Investors is the CED’s signature year-end convening, bringing together the people shaping Bolingbrook’s economic future. This event invites investors, community leaders, municipal officials, and development partners—along with all members of the Bolingbrook community—to gather for a comprehensive look at the year’s progress and what lies ahead.
Attendees will hear directly from CED leadership about key outcomes, strategic investments, and collaborative initiatives that strengthened the local economy, supported business growth, and advanced community-centered development across the region. More than a recap, this is a forward-looking conversation focused on impact, alignment, and opportunity.

CED After 3
CED After 3 is our signature after-hours social event designed exclusively for CED Investors to relax, connect, and engage with the people driving change across Will County. Held at distinctive venues throughout the county, these gatherings create a welcoming space for investors to network with peers, meet innovative leaders, and spark meaningful conversations outside of the boardroom. By blending a casual, social atmosphere with opportunities for professional connection, CED After 3 fosters relationships, collaboration, and insights that help strengthen the county’s economic growth and business community.
Will County Elected Officials
All elected officials and their staff are invited to a focused training session hosted by the Will County Center for Economic Development (CED) and its President & CEO, Doug Pryor. This event will provide the latest updates on incentives and programs from Nicor, ComEd, and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). Designed for decision-makers and community influencers, the session will deliver practical knowledge and tools to support economic development across Will County.
